Hate is not the answer.

Here’s what Jesus said:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.”

Jesus teaches His followers that when people mistreat them, they must not respond by mistreating their enemies.

Instead, Jesus’ followers are to love their enemies and pray for those who mistreat them. By doing this, we show that we want to be like God.

Wasn’t Jesus crucified? How did He respond? He said on the cross, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

To be like Jesus, we must love our enemies.
