What They Say About Us

Doesn’t matter

We danced all night under the lights,

We held each other’s hearts close;

We watched the moon go down,

And the sunset,

And we talked all night,

Rumors from strangers erupted,

Like demons uncaged,

Rumors from another woman,

Jealous of our love,

But we have heard so many rumors,

Our love is too strong to let them break

us;

When love is as strong as ours,

What they say, doesn’t matter,

Because we still have each other.
