What’s Your Word For The Year?

I’ve heard of this ‘word for the year’ — where you choose one word you want to try to embody or work towards or embrace, for the new year.

I’d never done it. It seemed kinda…Frivolous…Silly…Pointless.

But so many have posted about their words for 2025 that I thought I’ll give it a go!

If you have one, do you find it helpful? As a focal point, a guiding light — to lead you through the unknowns of the year ahead.

I’m leaning towards:

Awareness

It’s a theme that’s cropped up in my podcast a lot so far and something I want to cultivate more of.

And Awareness should lead to other positive things like Gratitude and Connection and Wonder that I also want to work on.

Awareness will allow me to be more open to all the goodness this new year has to offer.

So what about you?

What’s your word?
