Whenever You Can, Choose The Right Color

Photo by Alla Biriuchkova on Unsplash

While we are sitting together having lunch, two years after our last meeting, my girlfriend explains how she found out about her son’s color blindness. He was painting a drawing for school, she says, and he colored the tree in purple. He sees reality in a different shade. He thinks the Statue of Liberty is grey, the grass is yellow. Luckily, his color blindness will not affect his future life.
