When the coronavirus pandemic started, I watched the news, especially in Italy, which was one of the worst situations in the world. I was really sad for the Italian people who were dying, especially the doctors who were heroes.

I thought that Italy would take a very long time to get back on track again. When 2021 started and I first saw Matteo Berrettini, the first Italian Grand Slam finalist, then in the same week, I saw the Italian football team winning the UEFA Euro Cup. Finally, Italy got forty Olympic medals in Tokyo 2020.

These achievements make me wonder when all of these players trained to be at this level of excellence, and it gave me an outstanding lesson on hope, resilience, and passion.

I felt that these players wanted to make their nation happy after the misery of 2020.
