Why My Husband’s Software Engineering Job Is Lazy Compared to Mine as Product Manager

I came across a great comparison between time management as a software engineer compared to being a product manager.

It really hit the nail on the head because it’s so relatable.

My husband is a full-time software developer and I’m a product manager in marketing.

As you can see in the featured image, our daily tasks are totally different.

While my hubby can concentrate on coding, I’m juggling hundreds of balls.

Of course, as a software developer, you have to attend meetings, code reviews, and plan events on a weekly basis BUT as a product manager, you often have to do this on a daily basis.

And meetings are time vampires.

Sometimes they eat up a lot of my day.

Besides meetings…. there are the dreaded hundreds of emails in my inbox and calls.

What’s your day job and how is it different from your spouse's?
