Why SMART Goals Are Not for Me

They don’t work for everyone

SMART(Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals seemed like a smart thing until I realized it wasn’t for me.

‘Specific’ and ‘relevant’ parts of a SMART goal are the only ones I don’t have trouble with. Mostly it’s the ‘measurable’ element that I struggle with. Adding a number to my goal stresses me out and it works…
