Winter is Coming

With it comes my favourite season to travel

Urgh, what? Nobody wants to travel in Winter you would say. I have heard this quite often from my own friends. Winter is not for travel. It’s for you to snuggle into your bed with a coffee and a book. I do agree with them, but not completely.

For me, Winter is a great time to travel. The main reason for my love story with Winter is that it is the least crowded season. It allows ample time for me to have the places to myself, be it a mountain top, a waterfall or a scenic viewpoint.

Moreover, I can’t get enough of winter landscapes. Especially with snowy mountains, early sunsets and late sunrises winter is undeniably the most picturesque season ( or at least tied with Autumn).
