Side Hustle One: Picking Up Poop (From Dogs)
This side hustle may be a bit unsanitary, however, it is one where there is a pretty big market for. Most people in suburban areas let their dogs outside in their backyards to defecate however, after a while they have to pick it up which is a tedious job as it is pretty disgusting and takes a while depending on the size of the yard. This is where you come in. They will most likely hire someone else in a heartbeat as it saves time and they won't have to scoop up the nasty poop. You can charge based on time, yard size, or the same price for everyone, it is up to you. Then you can go to Target, Walmart, or browse on Amazon for a poop picker-upper. They aren't too expensive as they go for anywhere around $6-$25 depending on what picker-upper you fancy. This job will most likely perform the best around the summertime as it is hotter however it works great year-round as dog bladders don't run season by season.
Side Hustle Two: Beat Production
This side hustle is a little more unheard of as most famous producers are in their 20s, 30s, and even 40s but it is still profitable at a younger age. If you have a musical talent you can go on a beat-making software and as you learn the ropes sell your beats to rappers or post them on platforms like SoundCloud, YouTube, and Beat Stars. It may take a while to learn but once you get good you can sell each beat for $5-$20 just to start with but as you get better sell them for hundreds or even thousands depending on your skill level. This may take some money however as you may need a beat production software like FL Studio, Logic Pro, or Serato however some of these softwares like FL Studio have free trials. You can also use Soundtrap or garage band for free to start out with. However, you can turn this side hustle into a career as you can live off the revenue from YouTube or beats being sold and you can even get signed to a record label like Atlantic or Colombia records.
Side Hustle Three: Painting
This side hustle is just like beat production as if you are very creative this side hustle is perfect for you. If you are talented in drawing or painting you can make many of them and sell them at yardsales, sales, or markets. Depending on the quality and size you can sell them for however much you please. You can also sell the paintings on websites like eBay or Etsy to reach a broader audience and promote your stores on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. You can also do custom paintings along with already painted paintings for people so there is more variety and more possible customers.
