The phrase ‘content creation’ gives me the ick — I don’t enjoy calling the drawings, videos and writing I pour hours of my time into ‘content.’ I think Campbell Walker (aka Struthless) better describes my sentiment in his video on art vs. content.

But I don’t know a better umbrella term for describing all the things we create to be ‘consumed’ through a screen. So, ‘content’ it’ll be for now.

Now no matter your end-product, you’ll probably be doing a lot of digital cataloging for everything you make before it’s ready for online publication. And that can be a real hassle if you don’t get on top of it early on.
