Get paid to watch TikTok? Is that even a thing? Well, apparently it is.

Tik Tok is one of the latest trending social networks that revolve around short-form videos up to 3 minutes long. Users can create catchy, short videos doing a variety of activities from:

  • Dancing
  • Comedy
  • Sharing educational content
  • Entertaining

If you’ve got an interest, there’s a good chance that you can find creators on Tik Tok that talk about it.

I was on the platform last night and watched a TikTok live for 20 minutes of a woman playing scratch-offs. It was really entertaining.

It just goes to show, there’s something for everyone.

I’ve also seen relaxing ASMR content, cooking shows, tutorials showing how to master specific skills, and more.

Here are some ideas for how you can get paid to watch Tik Tok…

4 Clever Ideas — Get Paid to Watch Tik Tok

Have you thought of these?

1. Tik Tok Manager

A Tik Tok manager is someone who manages the Tik Tok account of their clients.

You’ll be an expert on Tik Tok and understand how the platform works. You’ll be able to recommend and/or execute growth strategies, help your client increase their digital footprint and increase brand awareness, cultivate a social following for them and meet their goals.

How does this work with watching Tik Tok?

Watch TikTok and keep an eye out for creators that you can help take their social media career to the next level. When you spot them, do some cold outreach to introduce yourself and get the ball rolling.

You won’t have a 100% success rate but at a 2% conversion rate from your efforts, that means for every 100 people you contact, 2 will respond and if you charge $1,000/month for Tik Tok management, that’s $2,000/month in your pocket!

This is one of many creative ways to get paid watching TikTok.

2. Tik Tok Influencer

Become a Tik Tok influencer.

This works kind of similarly to #1. Watch Tik Tok, do some research, see what kind of content is thriving and make content like that to grow your social following.

I started a brand new Tik Tok account about 6 months ago and I’m making around $5K to $7K per month from brand deals alone on less than 100K followers.

I’m making $5K to $7K per month creating TikTok content

This started by watching Tik Tok, paying attention to gaps in the content on the app and creating a niche influencer account to fill that gap and provide content that viewers were looking for.

3. Participate in giveaways or contests

Giveaways and contests happen on Tik Tok all the time. You just have to be following the right people.

You can learn more about this by watching TikTok. Then, you will get an opportunity to learn about these contests and try to enter to win.

I’ve seen some pretty amazing prizes given away like gift cards, name brand sneakers (like Yeezy’s), computers, Xbox game consoles and more.

Pro Tip: Use hashtags to search for potential giveaways

Pro Tip: Be aware of scams

Scams exist on the internet and that includes scam giveaways.

Make sure to avoid giving away your personal information or paying a fee as those could be red flags for scams. Go with your gut feeling and if it feels fishy, avoid it all costs.

4. Research

If you have research skills, you could find a virtual assistant job from a client who needs Tik Tok research done.

I saw a job like this on Upwork last week. They were looking for a list of 1,000 Tik Tok influencers and paying $20/hour to an assistant who could compile this list.

This is another clever way to get paid watching TikTok videos. You’ll check out the app and research what you need by your client on Tik Tok.

Final word

There you go, some ideas on how to get paid to watch TikTok videos.

As a side note, I’ve also read about some apps and websites that pay you to watch TikTok like Swagbucks or Inbox Dollars.

While sites like those do have opportunities to get paid watching videos, because Tik Tok is a newer social platform, I’m not sure if watching TikTok videos is available on those sites but they could be worth checking out either way.

They are free to join and offer other opportunities to make money online like by taking paid online surveys, listening to music, online research and more.

What do you think about these opportunities to make money watching TikTok videos?

Which one would you do?
