Curiosity has an advantage because it gets you started way ahead
In 1848, there began a gold rush in California sparked by James Marshall that ran for over ten years.
The people who benefited the most were young people who were curious to find out whether the stories of the Goldrush were actually true.
However many people especially older people whose curiosity had worn out stayed back saying perhaps those are but made-up stories.
Eventually
The Goldrush however persisted and many more people joined in and exploited the riches. People could easily get gold with very little effort.
However eventually, the gold began to decline and was eventually over and the goldrush ended.
This compares well with the content creation engine in which many people have ventured into content creation from as early as ten years ago.
Young At heart
Most of these people again are younger people with a few older people who are young at heart.
The most successful Youtubers for instance started out of curiosity rather than for financial reasons.
