We all have some hobbies that give us immense pleasure. But do you know that this hobby of yours can generate a lot of money for you, yes, it can generate a high-passive income for you.
Of course, you can start your hobby as a side hustle and then convert it into a money-making machine. You can make thousands of $$$ that too with your passion.
Now you will say, Is this possible?
Of course, it is possible.
So, I’m gonna share a roadmap with you in which you will get to know about the stages how can you start, what skills you have to learn, and how can they generate high income for you.
This roadmap is built up of 4 stages and when you complete all the stages then you can earn $$$ money. You have to understand each stage carefully. So without wasting time, let’s check out this article:
Stage 1 — Foundation
- SELECT YOUR BEST HOBBY
- Self-Reflection: This includes the hobbies which you like the most, it can be reading, writing, cooking, traveling, yoga meditation, etc.
- Explore: If you’re taking time to figure out your hobby or need help, then explore things.
- Ask Others: You can ask others about which thing you should try.
After this make a list of at least 10 hobbies and then choose the one you want to do in which your passion lies.
2. LEARN BASICS
Now you have made a list of your hobbies on an Excel sheet. Now, it’s time to learn the basic things that you can learn from one of these mediums:
- YouTube Videos
- Blogs
- Podcasts
- Books
- Free Courses
Choose your favorite medium and start learning. It takes almost 10–12 hours to learn the basics, no matter if you already know the basics. Because when you learn only then you can earn.
Stage 2 — Preparation
- FIND THE GAP
If you have basic knowledge of your skill then you will also ensure market demand. If you choose a skill that is in demand then how will you earn from it, you need to know this step because it is important. You need to identify the market gap. See what people want, what they’re searching for, what are their pain points. You can get to know from these tools:
- Social Media Comments
- Community Forums
- People also ask
- Face to face
Now you have to make a list of 100 problems in the worksheet that your target audience is finding. By doing this, you can easily find and solve their issues.
2. SELECT THE COMMON PROBLEM
Now identify the most common one from the list of 100 issues that you have made. This common issue is the most demanded. So, You’ve got your answer.
3. MASTER THE PROBLEM
After selecting a hobby, learning the basics, finding the gap, researching the market demands, and grabbing the issues, now you have to master it. Only then you be ready to solve your target audience’s issues. So the first thing is to find the issues and solve them.
4. SERVE FOR FREE
Now you have solutions to the problems but you still have no proof of your results. So make sure to give it away for free first. Start with free and then gradually move to a paid service. It takes at least 6 months to a year to become good at any hobby, so don’t be in a hurry. Talk to people, ask them, and provide them with free solutions. When they are satisfied with your results they will continue with the payment plan.
Stage 3 — Action
- Start Charging
Now you have gone from being a beginner to an intermediate and are moving towards becoming an expert and since people are now trusting you, you can now charge for your services. However, do not overcharge suddenly. Start with small and then gradually increase the charges.
- Collect Testimonials
Testimonials are a pillar for any business. Ask your clients for testimonials, which will build trust among your audience. These testimonials showcase your work, skills, your working capacity, etc.
- Marketing
You need to do marketing so that your work can reach more people. For this, you need create to a profile on a social media platform such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Create content on any of these platforms every day so you can build a network.
- Organic:
You can build your own website and blog and showcase your work on them. Talk to those experts who are in your niche so you can ask for guest blogging. Once you get a chance to do guest blogging, your blog or website will grow fast.
Stage 4 -Expansion
Now you have become an expert in your hobby or passion, so it’s time to expand your network which will build your net worth. You can now
