You might be wondering how I managed to earn money from writing on Medium without the Medium Partner Program.
The answer is simple; I am also an affiliate marketer and I promote Amazon products and other affiliate products on Medium and LinkedIn.
Affiliate marketing is a great way to earn passive income by recommending products or services that you trust and use yourself.
You get a commission for every purchase that is made through your unique link.
In February, I made $23.51 from promoting Amazon affiliates and $127 from promoting one SEO tool in my post. That’s a total of $150.51 in one month!
How did I do it?
I followed these steps:
- I chose low competition keywords that are relevant to the products or services I wanted to promote.
- I wrote top 5 or top 10 best products posts that showcased the specs and features of each product or service.
- I optimized my posts for SEO and added my affiliate links in a natural and ethical way.
- I shared my posts on Medium and LinkedIn, where I have a large and engaged audience.
That’s it! It’s not rocket science, but it does require some research, writing, and marketing skills.
