During the height of the pandemic, I boldly decided to try self-publishing e-books on Amazon with no previous publishing experience. My time as a “professional” writer was minimal and my confidence was low.

But I was bored with a lot of time on my hands.

Years after publishing my manuscripts, I’m still — surprisingly — receiving monthly royalty checks. And I’m not talking single-digit payouts. I’ve received double-digit payouts every month since publishing.
