The last 12 months have been a roller coaster ride for me.
I started several side hustles, including writing on the internet, starting a newsletter, and a marketing agency. I also got fired from my boring full-time sales job.
I made $20,000 in one year from my side hustles.
Looking back I realized that I made more through my side hustles than in my full-time sales job (the salaries in India are extremely low) and the only reason for this was because I stopped over-analyzing and started taking action.
Analysis Paralysis
A lot of us plan on doing things but never come to terms with taking action. This is because we want to plan every outcome before taking the first step.
That's like waiting for all the traffic lights to turn green before you start the car.
We end up analyzing so much that it causes us to freeze and do nothing. This is what I call Analysis Paralysis, the act of analyzing so much that you end up doing nothing.
