King Charles of England Portrait 2024
Official Portrait of King Charles III by @RealJonathan Yeo from X

Disclaimer Fudgin’ Politics knows nothing about art. We’ve been to museums. To look at artwork, and say, ooh, aah! Pretty!

Now on display in London!

King Charles III unveiled his 8.5- by 6.5-foot framed official portrait. His really red painting. And here comes the judges!

King Charles unveiled this official portrait, depicting him being consumed by the scarlet fires of hell — John Oliver

That shimmering, psychedelic crimson almost swallows up the poor monarch — Washington Post

His name is King Charles Philip Arthur George Mountbatten-Windsor. The King dressed in the uniform of the Welsh Guards adorned with his medals. His hands gripping a sword.

It’s portrayed as traditional meets modern style.

The Royal Portrait is odd. It almost looks like a disembodied head floating in a sea of crimson. What’s with all the red? Is that the King’s favorite color?
