Simple Acts That Connect Us With The Divine
Life is full of challenges, heartaches, and sorrow. Some of these challenges are genuine and part of our journey. However, there is so much human-created sorrow. We live in a world that produces enough food for no one to go hungry. However, unequal distribution of resources, food waste, wars, and other artificial problems create a world where the haves and have-nots.
Or who can ignore the evils committed by man? Many are done in the name of one’s god, country, gender, race, or whatever designs we come up with to use as a way to divide instead of unite.
Focusing only on the world’s problems would be overwhelming and useless. It would be easy to become cynical and use it as a protective shield against life’s disappointments, both big and small. However, this is self-defeating because while we may protect ourselves from some hurts, we rob ourselves of the beauty this world does have to offer.
Mediums, fortune tellers, and psychics claim to find answers in the stars and the sky. While I have a hefty dose of skepticism for anyone who “charges” money to interpret things for you, I find that astrology is fascinating and where much meaning can be found.
