You know what I am tired of the rubbish that is milk at the back.

Milk is often located in the furthest corner of the shop from the main entrance. Milk is one of the most popular items and this tactic means customers have to walk all the way through the store and are thus likely to buy other (unneeded) products. This a product (milk) that supermarkets in the UK refuse to even pay the going rate for!

Some may argue however this location is for the cold chain and it’s about keeping milk cool throughout its journey, even if this was the truth, can I ask you how many times have you visited your regular shop only to find items have been moved around? Unlikely this is for shopper or delivery connivance, but more likely designed to re-encourage you to browse or at the very least wander lost looking for the product you use to find aplomb.

Please please can we just stop this ! Marketing at its core is pretty plain evil and continues to try to entice us to buy and want products that do little to enhance the world we live in but instead perpetuate the myth of the famous and encourage humans to be selfish beings.

Every time I buy a product I try to think about its life cycle and all of the impacts it has likely had to get to my hand and of course after I have used it.

When are the thinking people going to stand up and say enough is enough we don’t need to be patronised anymore ?

Milk at the front please.
