Excuse The Setbacks
The ‘Smaller’ Medium is taking baby steps
I’ve been working on keeping up with a lot of things. Writing, friends, writings here on Medium, new updates (cough* Series) and publications, which include this one. It’s been a little rough (not to include other external things).
It seems I’m really not the only one and I don’t say this because it’s a good thing. It’s primarily because it’s a fact, for one, and a few of our editors have been having the same problems as well; not having enough time to read and curate some of the amazing posts that go unnoticed (largely in fiction, poetry and sometimes satire)
But this is something we’ve been dedicated to and we hope to find a way to make this work in the end. In this moment, that includes asking if there are other people willing to join as editors so we can better spot some good stories out there.
Through this effort we can elevate a lot of voices, however tough it may be during this already stressful time. We can get the recognition we need not necessarily for more ‘exposure’ but to connect with other writers in a meaningful way.
There’s no better time to have something like this and I trust through working together we can make this work.
