Happy Birthday, SNW! — The Past, Present, and Future.
One year has come and gone. Superhero NFT Wars (SNW) is now glad to celebrate our 1st anniversary 🎂 !
SNW is a Social Metaverse Aggregator Platform for all Web 3.0 projects including NFT and Defi or any Dapps, by providing three unified tools, for instance, Tokens, Avatars, and Social Space. SNW aims to help Web3.0 projects easily host metaverse events, connect users from isolated projects and achieve the most complete on-chain 🆔.
Here we would like to thank you all for your strong support, encouragement, and active participation along the way. SNW is not possible to achieve our current status without your support.
In the past year
Last year is the year for Metaverses, Bloomberg Intelligence expects the market opportunity for the metaverse to reach $800 billion by 2024, and Crypto giant Grayscale estimates a $1 trillion metaverse opportunity across e-commerce, hardware, digital events, and advertising. Metaverse platforms and markets have grown tremendously as the concept has cultivated mainstream interest. During this time, SNW also seized the opportunity to grow significantly. 🚀
When we initiated SNW, the purpose is to provide a truly user-friendly visualized interface for all Web 3.0 projects. With the emergence and maturity of the SNW metaverse, for the first time in the crypto world, all dApps can be aggregated into the same, and the ultimate form of, universe to be interacted with. With all the dApp users seeing each other, the linking, fission, and bonding between Web 3.0 projects and users can finally be achieved. This is giving birth to a brand new chemical reaction, which is believed to be a novel paradigm shift.
Some milestones to be remembered:
1. Fundraising 💸
SNW completed a $1M fundraising led by Geek Cartel, Starsharks, and BetterverseDAO/PreAngel in January 2022.
2. SNW-CB & SNW-X NFT collections 🤖
The two collections are derived organically from the Superhero NFT Wars (SNW) Ecosystem. The NFTs can gain EXP, level up, and change their appearances with the concept of “the more EXP gained, the more valuable”. The trading volume of the two collections has reached dozens of ETH even in such a kind of bear market condition.
3. Beta Test of version 1.0 of the SNW Metaverse 🌐
The SNW metaverse is designed in a way as crypto-native as possible. You can find memes, crypto celebrities, or icons in almost every building, statue, billboard, etc. in the SNW metaverse. Different buildings serve different purposes and by entering the building, you can have more interaction with the platform and even other players, such as trading, voting, etc.
3. Metaverse Events 🎫
a. Metaverse AMAs (MAMAs)
MAMAs aimed to bring a visualized, efficient, and engaging AMA format, to serve crypto, NFT, Defi, GameFi, and SocialFi projects, and individual users, players, and investors alike. The series of events has successfully brought the most consolidated information and the most genuine rewards to the most worthy participants.
We have successfully launched and cohosted 20 MAMAs with different kinds of Web 3.0 projects, including NFTs, Metaverses, SocialFi, infrastructures, DeFi, GameFi, Exchanges, DAOs, etc. Each one has accumulated 1000+ visitors with a peak time of 70+ people hearing the AMA and hanging out together.
b. Other Metaverse Events
During that time, we also held other great and fun Metaverse activities including the Community show-off event, Crypto Clashing Tournament (Battle activity), and other live text/voice group chill-outs.
This version of our metaverse is able to support us with task tracking, information collection, event data collection and analysis, and precision marketing tools for all Web 3.0 projects to enjoy.
4. Marketing Impression and Hype 📈
During the last year, we established different varieties of events and had such great memories with the community. On Twitter, we have accumulated 86k followers and attracted 20k family members on our discord server.
5. Partnership and collaborations 🤝
Last year, the partnership program and the expansion of the SNW-initiated ecosystem have been very successful. Around 50 Web3.0 projects with distinct focus have helped us build a more well-rounded tool for all the users and participants. Some of them have established strategic partnerships with us and will be announcing more in-depth integration in the near future.
The plan for this year
We pay close attention to the needs of our community members and always welcome all kinds of advice, suggestions, and feedback. We will work our best to bring you more features in this single, universal and immersive virtual world that can facilitate your everyday Web3.0 interactions.
In the near future, we will establish and officially launch the new version of our metaverse and our nightclub for all to chill in. The DID and online organic achievement system will also go live soon. The commercial land system and live audio functions in the metaverse are also in our recent pipeline.
As 2023 is approaching, in the early months of next year, we will focus on getting 100 dApps on board to our metaverse with a universal and unified infrastructure for all to interact with. The on-chain map editing functionality, PVP modules, and the plot and land deed system will also be deployed within the time frame.
100 dApps and live audio on metaverse, the Metaverse dream will then come IRL.
