Facts Are Missing!
I agree with one thing MB Innovations said in a response to your essay, which mirrors what so many are crying out about across the land of red, white and blue, well mostly red.
You, Derrick, omit facts when you talk about these incidents. And I, for one, am sick and tired of your liberal communist type of essay.
I expect a rewrite of this lilly liberal post by noon on Friday. And in the revised version, please ensure the following facts from the video below are included in the revised essay to ensure it is fair and balanced. Oh, and please make sure you do better next time — I don’t have time for this nonsense — my AK-47 isn’t going to fire itself at the deer in the forest down the road.
THE FACTS (which are curiously missing from your post):
- The shooter of the video is a ‘resource’ at school. It says so in the accompanying text. A resource is not a human and therefore should not be trusted.
- Armed police officers make schools safer, this video is proof. Texting in class could bring serious harm to any students in close proximity to such an offender.
- And yes, 5ft 5in females weighing approximately 120 lbs do pose an imminent and serious threat to large muscular, armed police officers. Especially when the female is a black stubborn teenager (all the white teenagers I know follow the rules) and she is seated in a school desk that doubles as a restraint device for parents attending PTA meetings in the evenings.
- The black male student in the red sweatshirt shown near the end of the video (posted below) is acting appropriately and not being assaulted. He is following the rules, but you don’t mention that in your essay. Black males, like this fine young man, should look scared as shit — avoiding eye contact with any incident, especially in a school setting — this ensures the authorities don’t have to send 2 officers to each class in the future.
- Punches. Did you not see the Mike Tyson right hook executed by the black female offender? The officer’s shirt had to be treated, with Stain-Out, because the black female had just come from art class sporting remnants of red paint on her index finger. She was probably painting a sign protesting police violence, baiting the officers on premise.
- And finally, in order to subdue a riotous texting student, it is not enough to threaten them with “am I going to have to force you to leave” kind of talk. I know, because of my police training at our local militia office, that it’s a rookie mistake to allow your subject to remain seated. Rather, an officer should rip the offender from the seat in which they are trapped and drag them on the ground. Further kicks or punches from the officer is the minimum use of force if we are ever going to return the situation to the solace that preceded the officer’s ripping the student from the chair. Because, black female student.
I’m watching you Derek. I don’t want to see anymore essays saying bad things about authority and glorifying rule breakers — unless you put all the facts into them.
Oh — and that last link in your essay…Tim Wise is right about one thing: I would shoot his ass if he tried to make me wait 72 hours before buying my next AK-47.
