5 Things To Do While Quarantined
I have seen so many people, now unsure what to do with their time as their country goes into either lockdown or are told to self-isolate, having restrictions put on public gatherings and alike which makes me wonder how many people are now at home looking for things to do with their time?
I would hate to try & guess the number but we can assume it is a huge number nonetheless!
So what can we do with all this spare time?
Here are 5 things you can do while self-isolating/Quarantined!
- Learn a new skill or Language(online courses).
- Freelance online work.
- Play games with family/friends (Online or Board games).
- Exercise & keep Uptrennding!
Learn A New Skill/Language:(Online Courses)
So with all this spare time at the moment, you could easily learn a new skill either by paying for an online course or watching/reading material online that is relevant for the skill you choose to learn!
There are so many places online where you can get paid & free education on all subjects/interest, below i will leave some links/descriptions of places you can start to learn new skills today if you wish! For me, i think learning is one of the most important things in any life, from day one we are required to learn to survive so by really making “learning” your best skill you will always do well in life regardless, because with this ability to learn various things effectively this also teaches you to be adaptable which is another key to survival & success.

So now you have some ideas of the things you can do to earn money while at home & these are only 10 of the remote jobs out there, I will now move on to how you go about finding work like this if you have the relevant skills/experience of course. (Even if you do not but you really like the industry just go for it!)

We all love 1 of these 3, some of us love all 3! I am more into Documentaries than films/series & another great way to entertain or learn while being at home with not much to do!
I would think that we all have at least 1 movie, series or documentary we wanted to watch but never got round to it. With platforms like Netflix, Prime TV, NowTV & the countless other TV/Movie platforms, there is something for everybody!
I recently found this list of the top 48 best documentaries on Netflix & there are some very interesting ones there too, I will also share a few other links for box sets & movies to watch!

Spend Time With Family/Friends Online:
Of course, this one can only be done with those you are qua with so do not start inviting your friends and elderly family over to the party! Even with spending time with those you are isolating with, still wash your hands & make sure you keep things as disinfected as possible and try to keep some distancing between you all.
One of my favourite board games is Monopoly, every Christmas when i was a child, myself & family would all play for at least a day, most of Boxing day was spent playing Monopoly! Trivial pursuit as well, is another great game! Sometimes you can’t beat the old methods of having fun!
Because of how well connected we all are in today’s world, we can also play games with our family/friends online too, either by Computer, Mobile, Xbox, Playstation & various other methods of online gaming or just online social activities, chatting to them through video or messenger.
You could easily use Skype to video chat with your family/friends who are also in quarantine and show them how to install games on mobile/computer, there are so many ways you can stay connected if you are willing to help family/friends become confident online! At least this way you can still play games, chat with your elderly family who you might not be able to see for weeks/months so definitely worth thinking about.
Exercise & Keep Uptrennding!
Now, this is a complete winner!
Exercising is great for your body & your mental health because it helps you stay routined, working out the built-up tension in your body & just generally makes you feel better about yourself so i highly recommend these two as together they are the perfect combination!

I am also going to share some links to people who you could find motivating & helpful on your journey to stay fit & well.
To clarify not all that i share below will help you so try to figure out what you want from exercise, do you just want to be healthy? Do you want to build muscle & mass? There are many things you can get from exercise routines so be sure to find one that works best for the goals you set! (I love strength training, I call it compound movements, so heavy weights short reps which build strength, just because somebody has more weight doesn’t mean they are stronger)
I hope the above helps or at least points you in a direction so you can get started! Even if you look at these and you are still unsure, why not just start with some push-ups & step-ups which can be done on the bottom step of anything lol If you live in a house, walk/run up & down your stairs for 30 minutes, honestly your whole house can be a gym, it is just how determined you are to stay active.
Please do your own research on the topics/links mentioned above as i am just sharing my personal opinion on ways to stay active & sane in times of isolation as these are some of the things i do to take breaks/unwind from everyday life, there are so many things you can do at home.
Have a pet? Why not teach them a new trick? There are literally so many things to do just remember to stay clean & do the best you can do :)
