“Off The Block”, But On The Path
Conversion of old concepts will double support for indie artists
After three years of co-hosting the Soup2Nutz show, expansion needed to take place. The concept has shifted into the S2N Society. In coordination with venues, supporters, and partnerships we have fostered a holistic support mechanism for independent artists through “The Collective”. Multi-platform, exclusive shows, stream increases, and gig opportunities. The same quality music you expect from us, just new ways for you to access it. There are some amazing artists, familiar and new, set and ready to go. One week, 6 platforms, multiple admins, and hosts.
We kicked off this week to support the 100th artist from our Soup2Nutz show, City of Auburn. They dropped a new single “Off the Block” last Friday after three years.
To continue what I am deeming “City of Auburn Week,” I thought it’d be fun to put together a nostalgic/commemorative pop-punk, punk adjacent playlist to get through the rest of the week. A little Palmmute Records family, a little punk from my past, and some indie gems. We posted it under The Collective team of all of the entities we have helping us in the creation of this support mechanism. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it. Play it on shuffle.
