Disclaimer: Psychedelic substances are illegal at the time of writing. The purpose of this guide is to educate and offer safety information to those who decide to use the drug. I do not encourage or condone the use of psychedelics where and when it is forbidden by law.

“Life is like a box of chocolates. You’ll never know what you’re gonna get.”

I say, not quite.

Chocolates are predictable. Who finds Snickers in a pack of M&M’s? Let’s try something different:

“Life is like a tab of LSD. You’ll never know what you’re gonna get.”

And life is exactly like that — a long, winding version of your regular acid trip. Always uncertain. You get good days, you get bad days. And you just hold on tight for the ride.

I’ve had my fair share of good trips and bad trips on psychedelics. Bad trips do happen, and it’s part of the psychedelic contract you signed before dropping that tab. Or mushies, or DMT. In fact, there’s an entire section dedicated to it on the front page. In bold. Not in the fine print.

Legality aside, one of the reasons why people are afraid to try psychedelics is because of bad trips. That’s a very valid fear…
