Learning, Growing and Sharing

One of the goals we have as a proto-department at Space Ape is to be “a world-class team that grows, learns and shares” and as part of our efforts to continually learn, we love to attend events.

Next week looks to be a busy week for us as we attend two such events that we are very excited about.

Firstly, we have been lucky enough to be invited by Google to attend SPAN London 2015 at The Yard in Shoreditch on the 12th November. We’re really looking forward to meeting up with other like-minded experience folks, and learning lots from the great schedule of workshops, panels, and talks.

We are particularly looking forward to the closing keynote from Ken Wong of Ustwo, who’s beautiful game Monument Valley continues to be a massive inspiration.

Also on the 12th November, we’ll be attending UX Crunch, where we will be eagerly listening as Alex Baxevanis, Experience Strategist at Webcredible, will be asking “Are apps the real future of TV?”

We’re always excited to learn about new and growing platforms that give us the opportunity to reach new players and the design challenges associated with them, and we’re sure this event will not disappoint.

If you’re attending either event and you see an Ape (we’ll probably be in our fetching Space Ape Hoodies), please say ‘Hello!’, we’d love to meet you!
