Rocks Are My Therapist

Verena Francis, 16, is a high school sophomore who finds peace in collecting rocks. Since a young age Verena has been collecting stones, initially out of pure curiosity and aesthetic purposes. However, as time has went on she found her love for rocks grew into something more. She began to read into the different meanings behind the types of crystals and found herself even more drawn to them. She now has a collection of over 30 stones, each with a different meaning and purpose. Verena views her crystals as a therapeutic resource that she has at her disposal. She claims these rocks help her during meditation and also aid in her ability to focus her energy on a certain thought. Since getting into crystals more seriously, Verena believes her life has changed for the better and that she has grown as a person because of them.
