Will McHugh: “Un” Professional Bodybuilder
Will McHugh, a sophomore at the University of Tampa, is a larger-than-life character who hails from Lumberton, New Jersey. Will, who stands at 6’2, 200 lBs, brands himself as a “un” professional bodybuilder.
Will, who has fully immersed himself into the world of fitness and living a healthy lifestyle, eyes a career in the fitness industry after college, dreams about becoming a competitive bodybuilder, runs a fitness Instagram page for like-minded people, and even goes so far as to call Arnold Schwarzenegger his idol.
On the afternoon of Monday, October 11th, I followed Will to the gym and documented him going through one of his workouts. The following day, on the morning of October 12th, on the heels of witnessing his workout, I interviewed Will and asked him what fitness means to him, how he got started in the field, how he plans to move forward in the field, and about the workout I oversaw.
