Being a self-proclaimed wine enthusiast, I have always been intrigued by the science behind producing different types of wine. From the grape’s origins to the fermentation process, it’s a complex and detailed process that requires knowledge and expertise.
That’s how I came up with The Spirited Scholar, a project combining two of my passions.

The goal of The Spirited Scholar is to educate people who are interested in the science behind producing alcoholic beverages. It aims to provide readers with insightful information on different types of wines, champagnes, and liquors, how they are made, and their history.
But The Spirited Scholar is more than just an educational publication. It’s also a fun and engaging read that entertains readers with fascinating alcohol-related facts.

The Spirited Scholar is also about affordability. As a writer, I understand the value of a good bargain, and I’m always looking for great wines, liquors, and champagnes that won’t break the bank.
I will write about some expensive wine, liquor, and champagne brands, but most wine suggestions will be bottles around $40-$60 (in New York State).
The publication provides tips on pairing wines with your favorite dishes and information on storing and collecting wines, champagnes, and liquors.
