My criteria for this list was simple — what were Micheal Jordan’s most iconic and impactful performances.

Without further ado:

1.) The Last Shot: Game 6, 1998 NBA Finals vs. Utah Jazz — Stats: 45–1–1 / 42–42–80%

The most iconic image in sports history?

That’s up for debate. The most iconic in NBA history? Less so.

The crossover pull-up jump shot over Bryon Russell with 5.2 seconds left to give the Bulls an 87–86 victory, Jordan his second there-peat and sixth ring, was legendary.

2.) Flu Game: Game 5, 1997 NBA Finals vs. Utah Jazz — Stats: 38–7–5 / 48–40–83%

We now know this was the food poisoning game, but the legend will always remember it as the flu game. Pippen carrying a fatigued MJ off the court, 17 points in the second quarter, followed by 15 in the fourth, mind over matter at its finest!

3.) Game 2, 1991 NBA Finals vs Lakers — Stats: 33–7–13 / 80–00–75%

“A spectacular move” — The Marv Albert call, on Jordan’s iconic right-left switch in mid-air was the standout play of the game. It was spectacular performance as Jordan went 15–18 from the field, including a stretch of 13 consecutive field goals.
