I finally lost some weight and what made the world of difference was that I learnt to snack better.

The Back Story

The year is 2023, I just stepped off the scale, disappointed.

The struggle with my weight was becoming an eternal battle, my own personal hell. Wait. What if my punishment in the afterlife was that I would be doomed to a corner of hell where I would struggle to lose weight for all of eternity?

I shook my head, trying to chase the morbid thoughts away. Then made a new resolution to lose weight, my 3rd attempt that year. I knew I could do this, I could achieve my goal.

I was not perfect, but my lifestyle was pretty good.

I ate healthy. Exercised. Drank a passable amount of water. Slept on time. Went for frequent walks. Anything else I was missing?

Oh right, I should stop snacking.

What is it about snacks that makes it so hard to resist?
