January
Barbara J. Martin kicked us into gear by asking ‘What’s your life’s purpose?’ And she has an idea:
“You can nail one board at a time. And when you’re finished, you might be surprised at how valuable your purpose turns out to be.”
In the UK, the documentary Mr Bates vs The Post Office aired and the greatest miscarriage of justice in British history appalled the country. Mr Bates's 20-year crusade for justice finally paid off when the government acknowledged the hundreds of wrongful convictions.
January is the month of resolutions to lose weight, stop drinking etc. Anthony (Tony/Pcunix) Lawrence 👀 gave us new exercise routines.
Meanwhile, Uvebruce was still fuming over the sadistic bastard who invented Christmas lights.
February
Singaporean chess prodigy Ashwath Kaushik at eight years old became the youngest player to defeat a grandmaster in a classic tournament game at the Burgdorfer Stadthaus Open, Switzerland.
