I’ve written my fair share of ‘About Me’ articles since starting on Medium in 2020. Hopefully, this one continues the tradition of them all being quite different.

Ten topics are from Malky’s template, and one is my choice.

(Note to self: Resist the urge to talk about ‘turning it up to eleven’ and get started!)

The warmer weather should encourage me to spend more time away from the keyboard. I took this photo in September 2023 during a bike ride with my son.

1. If I could change one thing about myself

One thing? I could list dozens! How about we settle on two?

Physically: Perfect eyesight. I have worn glasses since age four, and they are a pain! I would love to see clearly without them.

Mentally: Eliminate anxiety. It’s been part of my life since I can remember, as though my mind is always looking for problems. I wish it would give me a break sometimes!

2. My favourite music

My mind goes blank when asked this!

I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and much of my favourite music is from those decades. I love funk, soul, and disco, but I also like rock, pop, and jazz.
