On Monday, Bebe King (6), Elsie Dot Stancombe (7), and Alice Dasilva Aguiar (9) were killed in stabbings at a dance class in Southport, England and seven others are in critical condition.

The internet was flooded with videos and pictures of the scene in the aftermath.

It was quickly revealed that a suspect had carried out a vicious assault, inflicting stab wounds on 11 children and two adults who tried to protect them. Police quickly apprehended a male suspect, later confirmed to be a 17-year-old boy.

Later in the day, authorities unveiled the tragic news of two children’s fatalities and the injuries suffered by nine others, six of whom are in critical condition. Two adults received critical injuries after bravely attempting to safeguard the children.

On Tuesday morning, officials confirmed that a third child had passed away.

This brutal assault stands as the most severe instance of multiple stabbing in Britain in recent years, and the most heinous act against children since the tragic shooting in Dunblane, Scotland, back in 1996, which resulted in the loss of 16 young lives.
