Comedian, podcaster, and party animal Bert Kreisher just released a trailer for his new show on Netflix, “The Cabin”. According to the trailer and a few interviews, it appears that The Cabin will consist of Bert and some likely, and unlikely guests participating in a retreat of sorts. This will consist of wilderness challenges, therapy techniques, and a whole lot more.

In a time when the world seems clouded in darkness, and even the entertainment coming out is mostly grim or not quite what it could be with a live audience, this show seems to be exactly the opposite. A light-hearted, comedic romp through the woods seems alot more appealing in my opinion.

Bert’s newest endeavor sees him having interactions with several comedians and frequent collaborators who he and his fans know well. These include Tom Segura, Donnell Rawlings, Bobby Lee, etc. However, there are quite a few names that appear in the trailer and cover art alone that raise some eyebrows. We haven;t known Bert to ever have collaborated with Joel McHale, Kaley Cuoco (featured in the trailer), and definitely not with by far the most bizarre guest listed, Caitlyn Jenner.

This obscurity is likely what will make the show as entertaining as the trailer makes it appear. Watching Bert go camping with the usual suspects likely wouldn’t be nearly as entertaining. The series debuts on October 13th on Netflix, and you can watch the trailer here. https://youtu.be/b0bxFPc7re4
