Ms. Reitz —

This morning I hiked a four mile out and back hike in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

I then hiked a one mile out and back hike up to the observation tower on top of Clingman’s Dome.

The drive to Atlanta was a breeze on my way to meet up with you. Thank you for the most delicious dinner. Salmon, and homemade pesto, and puff pastries, and fresh figs, and everything I could want.

The tour of the city of Atlanta after dinner was thorough. I never realized how many different pockets and neighborhoods Atlanta really has. The city seems ripe for its next population boom.

Me, Ms. Reitz, and Jordan (left), half of the delicious meal (right)

It’s like a bunch of different mini cities all piled into the “perimeter.”

I’m exhausted from a day of driving, and eating, so I’m off to an early bed. Breakfast tomorrow at a Waffle House and then I’m off to my next destination.

Yours —

  • I got my most expensive oil change today because Jiffy Lube thought I was my brother and decided to use synthetic oil rather than normal oil, thanks William!
  • I was technically in Tennessee today on a hike, but I won’t count it as 34 quite yet
