If you are working for a bigger company or haven’t started up yet, you wouldn’t know these downright hilarious things founders have to do while building their startups.
1. Everyone knows code
Especially if you are part of the founding team, it is highly likely that you know how to read code. Yes, the technical code. Almost all founders have a basic understanding of the technical gibberish even if their role is marketing for example. I say it’s gibberish because even though I hate code, I now know how to read it… Perks of being in a startup?
2. Free trials never end
Who doesn’t love free things? Well, entrepreneurs love it even more since most of them are on a budget. Wouldn’t be surprised if they created new email addresses to continue using the free trial.
Pro tip: Sometimes talking to the customer service team and complaining about how you didn’t have enough time to use the free trial will help you extend your free trial!
3. Fight and make up in a nano-second
You want your startup to be the best and it’s not an uncommon sight to see co-founders bickering about the business. But literally a second later you will find them laughing about the latest 9GAG meme. True story!
4. Pantry = Bar
Most startups with their own space usually have a well-stocked pantry. This might sometimes have snacks but always has booze. Sometimes it just gets too hard and you need a 10 am drink on the rocks… #StartupLife!
