We’ve long passed the stage where we play with our friends in the playground. In recent years, there’ve been various trampoline parks for us to relive the faint memories of our childhood memories (without getting judged). And this year, the “world’s first ever indoor suspended net playground” is being introduced at City Square Mall!

The playground is located in the atrium and spans from the 2nd to the 6th storey. As daunting as that may sound, you do not have anything to worry about. The nets are designed to hold the weight of 2 fully-occupied buses, and there is(are) first-aid trained staff(s) around. All you’ve got to face is your fear of heights!

For more ‘ballsy’ people, there’s a ball pit made up of 50,000 blue and white balls. Hidden among them are 2 red balls that if found, you can present to the staff for a small gift. Can’t wait to start ‘swimming’ in the ball pit like a child without getting judged! Tip: if you feel like you’re losing your footing, don’t struggle. Just kneel down to touch the net before attempting to stand up.

There’s also a 3D maze that’s gonna require crawling. It’s a no thanks for me, but it will be suitable for the younger kids!

If you’re feeling adventurous, take a ‘hike’ up to the highest storey and slide your way down! The thrill of sliding down will probably make up for the intense workout of climbing up using the netting!
