The cost of textbooks is at an all-time high and shows no signs of slowing down. It has become a multi-dimensional problem that plagues college students and their families every semester. Through the company’s extensive customer discovery research, ecoText found that up to 30% of students choose not to purchase textbooks altogether. This reality prevents scholars from having the ability to take advantage of the full value of their education. These students suffer increased barriers to entry to higher education merely due to their inability to afford textbooks.

What The Company Does

EcoText is building an ecosystem of publishers, students, and colleges to deliver textbooks at an affordable price point. The company is accomplishing this mission through a web application that students use to engage with their textbooks.
