Embr Labs was then created to help individuals manage hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and anxiety.

Embr Labs delivers products that harness the body’s natural response to temperature to enhance human wellbeing and leverage temperature as a new pathway to the brain to balance the autonomic nervous system.

Their first target market is the 1 billion women who are in menopause worldwide.

Embr Labs sells wearable devices and mobile features starting at $299 with accessories starting at $35.

Traction

Embr Labs has tens of thousands of customers in 170 countries leveraging their patented wearable technology. Their primary product, Embr Wave, has been backed by research at the National Science Foundation, UC Berkeley, and Johnson & Johnson.

Founding Team Background

The technology was invented by the founders, Matt Smith, David Cohen-Tanugi and Sam Shames while they were engineering students at MIT.
