Boston-based Pikurate is on a mission to make it easier and faster for you to navigate your next research project — whether for school or work or personal.

The Problem:

Ever try to research a new topic online and get overloaded by information? Where do you start? What’s credible? Too much information leads to wasting time when searching for accurate content for your situation, and there is a knowledge gap that occurs when you search for a new topic alone. In the U.S., 39 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds go online almost constantly, while 65 percent of students go online daily to get information for school, a number that has doubled since 2006. The internet has become integral for decision making and perception of the world, yet the reliability of online information has dropped to 37 percent. Thus, Generation Z is faced with important life decisions that require time and effort to find information for.

Solution:

Pikurate has developed a platform that helps organize all the useful information under a search purpose, and is curated and vetted by communities.
