Part of leading a Customer Success team is also about being a good leader. So, from time to time, I will also share some of my learnings and takeaways from my own leadership development. Whether you’re a seasoned manager or you just became a manager for the first time, there will be some gems here for you!

As a new leader, it is easy to get sucked in without leaving time to reflect on the new role that you play. So to kick this off, I wanted to take the time to reflect on how we see our roles and what we aspire to be as leaders.
What is a leadership philosophy?
George Ambler shares that it is “a set of beliefs, values, and principles that strongly influences how we interpret reality and guide our understanding of influencing humans. It’s our philosophy, our understanding, and interpretation of leadership, that affects how we react to people, events, and situations around us.”
The rest of your team and company will be looking to you to set the example and having these leadership philosophies will help guide you to lead with a steadier hand.
