What’s Your Typical Breakfast?

I know it seems boring, but I enjoy having the same breakfast every day.

Breakfast is the most important part of the day. We all know that, right? I often wake up ravenous and eager to eat. Well, that was before losing my appetite from Covid. But nevertheless, I used to wake up and feel starved! We have been fasting for 8 hours or more after all.

My breakfast has been pretty much the same day after day. I usually eat out on the weekends, but weekday breakfast have similar items.

These are the staple items.

  • 1 egg
  • 1 piece of bread or bagel
  • 1 apple and 1 kiwi
  • A nice handful of red onions

When there are enough ingredients for a salad, I’ll throw in a small one. Can’t have too many veggies after all! I’ll also have yogurt with chia and flax seeds if we have some. This breakfast is actually really easy to make. It takes less than 10 minutes to cook. It’s also delicious and I feel like it’s a well-rounded breakfast!

On the weekends, I might have something similar — a traditional egg and toast breakfast at a restaurant. Some other alternatives would be dim sum or soup noodles at a Chinese restaurant!
