An early summer night

The fireflies are returning

They join me on my back porch

Or is it I who join them?

I light my smoke in the darkness

As I breath in

I take in the noisy quiet of the night

Exhale

I let myself slip into the moment

And welcome the slow creep of serenity as it overtakes me
