Call it a Bowler’s Convention!

I’ve been working on this project for a couple of weeks now. The wood is Camphor Wood from Australia, laminated and turned by someone else on a lathe. This piece was a “dud” with a small imperfection on the wood. So I got it and turned it into a “pierced” bowl — large enough for a dandy salad for a crowd. Still finishing to be done.

Happy times in the studio these days. Sun is hot, house is cool (passive energy works). New Mexico has its charms, including dramatic skies. WOW!
