Competitiveness or Competitivity? Both are acceptable. But my story is only about the most competitive person I know.

When he arrives at some traffic lights where there are people waiting, he makes sure he burrows through them so as to reach the top of the queue. He keeps his eyes peeled on the lights, and the moment it begins to change, he forges ahead so as to reach the other side first. But that was not all. He decided to fine-tune this strategy. If arriving at the traffic lights he notices that there are people opposite, he has to compete with them as well. The moment the light changes, he rushes forward and counts the number of steps it takes to draw level with the first person coming in the opposite direction. Suppose it is X. Then he counts how many more steps it took him to get to the other side. If it is less than X, then he has beaten the opposition. Otherwise _. No, he never needed more than X.
