We are not really used to Sherlock Holmes style close scrutiny.

But what is this? Hiding on the surface of a painting — definitely there,
but nearly invisible to the naked eye?

Someone was touching the paper with the tiniest of pen lines?
Why? When?

There is something moving about discovering a secret. Once discovered,
a person tends to look for it again and again.

Not a significant secret. But a reward for looking closely.

Does anyone care about things like this but me?
