Here is a really fine treatise on what’s so wrong about plastic.

Nov 15 2018

I remember my Uncle Herbert bringing plastic objects home during the 1950's — the new and improved way to package products and create objects! It was very exciting stuff — a way to streamline and lighten the freight of heavy wood and metal and cardboard boxes and crates and even furniture!

We love our Lego. We love our tarps! We love shiny plastic balloons and picnic forks and frisbees! We ADORE plastic. What would we do without containers and buckets of plastic?

WELL. Read the link (in BOLD LETTERS above) and think about it.

IF you have time to read.
or IF you care about the planet at all
or IF you wonder why all our consumer recycling is not enough to solve this.

DON’T quit recycling! But DO read this article to see where the change really needs to occur. WE CAN DO SOMETHING about this.

SGH
