Lake Fog by Connie Livingston-Dunn
- Fog drops her curtain
- Over lake and waves
- Gently lapping at the shore
- Wrapping forest and sea
- In a soft grey blanket
- Of tender silky warmth.
- Startled ducks fly
- Into the mist
- While soft amber light
- Gives a soft glow
- To guide the way home
- To the light
- Within my heart.
