Living

I may not have gotten to where

I thought my plans would take me,

but the road has been

interesting and boring,

difficult and smooth sailing,

insecure and stable,

heart wrenching and heartwarming,

and though I know

that I have gotten to where I need to be,

I also take comfort in the knowing

that I have lived

and

I AM

ready for yet

another step,

another turn,

another plan

in this trek they call living.
